Fantastic Four

    del.icio.us

I saw this movie last weekend; not so Fantastic. I guess they think any comic can be made into a movie. Just because X-Men and Spiderman was sucessful doesn't mean that this trend doesn't have a shelf life.

It seems that too many things were assumed in this movie. For instance, at the beginning of the movie, there are five non-genetically altered characters on a space station and something goes horribly wrong. They make it back to Earth and somehow all develop powers of some sort. One of the guys had kind of a bad attitude, and he all of the sudden becomes a bad guy. It's automatically assumed that he needs to kill everyone that he comes in contact with. It's also assumed that he needs to go after the other four and eliminate them. There is no other goal or anything, they're all just supposed to fight for some reason. And of course the bad guy loses, and it's left open for a sequel in the cheesiest way.

One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time.
